![]() Basic decision theory of analytic hierarchy process is applied in this article, with a project example in north Guangdong region as the research object, the in-situ mining method optimization choose hierarchical analysis model is established and the analysis method, The results show that, the AHP model for mining method selecting model was reliable, optimization results were conformity with the actual use of the in-situ mining method, and it has better practicability. Tan Zhongyin Kuang Zhengping Qiu HuiyuanĪnalytic hierarchy process, AHP, is a combination of qualitative and quantitative, systematic and hierarchical analysis method. International Nuclear Information System (INIS) The application of the analytic hierarchy process ( AHP) in uranium mine mining method of the optimal selection As a result of these applications and evaluations, it is concluded that AHP method could be helpful in rural development efforts. In this article, cultural factors, one of the important components of rural development is often ignored in many studies, were evaluated as an example. Because mentioned features of AHP method, it could be used in rural development works. At the same time, it permits utilization of ideas of many experts and use them in decision process. It allows evaluation of quality and quantity factors. After degrading a problem in smaller pieces, relative importance and level of importance of two compared elements are determined. AHP methods is one of multi-criteria decision method. Analytic Hierarchy Process ( AHP method can be utilized at there stages of development efforts. Therefore, in development efforts problem should be stated clearly, analyzed and many criterias should be evaluated by experts. As it is understood from this description, rural development is a very broad concept. The proposed decision-making scheme is especially useful with qualitative criteria and can be applied to diverse problems in landscape management.USING ANALYTIC HIERARCHY PROCESS ( AHP METHOD IN RURAL DEVELOPMENTĭirectory of Open Access Journals (Sweden)įull Text Available Rural development is a body of economical and social policies towards improving living conditions in rural areas through enabling rural population to utilize economical, social, cultural and technological blessing of city life in place, without migrating. The four management alternatives included:ġ) maintain current management practices (business as usual),Ĥ) provide sustained use of natural resources.Īfter weighting the decision criteria and evaluating the performance of the alternatives against them, the second alternative (develop eco-tourism) was selected as providing the best performance across all criteria. The five decision criteria were promoting biodiversity, wilderness, tourism, education, and use of resources. AHP was used to derive the weights on five decision criteria, while PROMETHEE was used to assess the performance of four alternative management plans with respect to the five decision criteria. This paper presents an example of an integrated application of two commonly used multi-criteria decision-making methods in landscape management, AHP and PROMETHEE, in order to select one of four management alternatives as the preferred alternative for management of the Fruska Gora National park in Serbia.
